Restaurant in Fairfax Station, VA Installs Brand New Granite Countertops
Fairfax Station is the home to various restaurants. One owner decided to contact Granite ASAP to have their bar counters remodeled with granite stone. They also opted to have all the dining booths to be upgraded with the stone as well. The kitchen had stainless steel counters, which they chose to keep the same for sanitary purposes.
The idea of the owner was to offer guests an upscale feel with low-priced menus. It was a popular venue, but the tables and furniture were outdated and needed to be upgraded. The granite stone was just one part of the renovation, which was to take place during a slow season to minimize impact on revenue.
The professionals at Granite ASAP came to the restaurant to take measurements of the booths and bar counters. The owner came down to our showroom to select the colors he thought would suit the new décor. The experts then prefabricated the stone slabs for the customer and brought it along.
Everyone was Very Pleased with the Outcome
The owner of the restaurant, as well as his own customers, were very ecstatic about the granite upgrades made to the diner. It gave the restaurant a more elegant touch, without it feeling formal. The restaurant aimed at casual diners, who weren’t looking to dress up. However, now it catered to both groups of people. Now, townspeople came on dates with their guys and gals and enjoyed a nice meal and drinks. The tables no longer needed to be covered to hide the old dull-looking wooden tables.
The bar area was also nicer looking and had less of a hardcore feel. Before, the counters were made of a glossy wood that was chipping away. The granite counters made the room appeal more elegant, which was great since it was the focal point of the room. It’s the first thing customers notice when they enter the restaurant.
Granite ASAP Does a Job Well Done
The restaurant closed its doors for two weeks considering the remodeling work that was to be performed. The experts from Granite ASAP came by near the end, so that the counters wouldn’t get ruined by the other work being done. The project was completed in one day, so it was very swift and seamless.
The owner was very pleased with the speed and perfection of our project and decided to hire us to do some work in his residence. He also referred us to another shop owner in a neighboring town who was also planning a small renovation.
